L-828/L-829 Constant Current Regulators (CCR)
Liberty manufacturers a full complement of thyristor and ferroresonant style regulators with output ratings from 1KW to 30KW, 6.6A or 20A, and input voltages from 208V to 2400V. Regulators are digitally controlled, Ethernet enabled and available in standalone or switchgear configurations.
L-847 Circuit Selector Switches
Our circuit selector switches use the latest 5KV vacuum technology to switch the output of a CCR into multiple circuits. Up to 6 circuit selectors can be provided per enclosure and are available in standalone or switchgear configurations.
PAPI Heater
To ensure that the correct visual information is provided by the PAPI, it is necessary to prevent frost or condensation from forming on the lenses or front glass of the PAPI units. The Spirit Series™ family of PAPI Heaters are designed to help eliminate this potential problem.
Field Circuit Cutout
The Airfield Lighting Safety Cutout (ALSC) is used to isolate the field circuit from the constant current regulator (CCR) for testing or maintenance. The ALSC consists of a base unit and a series of removable handles that provide a convenient means of testing the field circuit without disconnecting the field cables from the CCR.
System Upgrades
Legacy constant current regulators and circuit selectors can be upgraded, bringing technology to current standards while incorporating support for new features and capabilities. Upgrades can be implemented on an individual basis as funds are available, while minimizing disruption to airport operations.
Accessories
Accessories have been developed to help with maintenance and troubleshooting. These include the resistive load bank tester for testing CCRs and the power lift for removal of switchgear CCR powerpacks. If you have a need for other accessories, please don’t hesitate to call.
